Queen Elizabeth practice wall proposal

Queen Elizabeth Park used to have a wall but access to tennis players was removed to make way for exclusive pickleball use. The area is now used as a lobby/waiting area for pickleball instead of servicing the tennis community’s need to practice.

The Vancouver Tennis Society has submitted a proposal to the City of Vancouver for the city to build a replacement practice wall in the empty area next to Court 16. Please see attached a link to the PDF of the proposal.

If you support the idea of having a tennis practice wall at the center of the city, please write to the City of Vancouver with support for the proposal or call 3-1-1.

The Case Number for the proposal is 201000348282.
