$500 Grants for Current and Aspiring Female Tennis Coaches

About the Grant
Vancouver Tennis Society is proud to announce that we have received the Lead Forward Grant to empower aspiring female tennis coaches. This initiative aims to increase female representation in tennis coaching and create pathways for women to build rewarding careers in the sport.
Four $500 grants are available to support:
- Aspiring female coaches (non-certified) who want to obtain their tennis "Instructor" coaching certification
- Current certified tennis "Instructors" who want to pursue "Club Pro 1" certification
How the Grant Works
Register & Complete Your Program
Register directly with Tennis BC and the Tennis Professional Association (TPA) for your coaching certification and complete the required coursework.
Receive Your Grant
Upon successful completion of your certification program, Vancouver Tennis Society will transfer the $500 grant subsidy directly to you.
Get Coaching Opportunities
VTS will present you with paid opportunities to start your tennis coaching career with our programs and events.
No Exclusive Contract
You will have no exclusive contract with Vancouver Tennis Society and are free to coach anywhere.
Eligibility Criteria
- ✓Female tennis player with minimum NTRP 3.0 level
- ✓Registered in a current or future Instructor or Club Pro 1 coaching certificate courses
- ✓Intent to pursue tennis coaching full-time or part-time
